M2 on Neil Progress Continues
The remarkable transformation of Downtown Champaign continues as work progresses on M2 on Neil. Steel framing is complete and the building now stands at it's full height of nine stories tall. Brickwork is begining and will last though July. One Main Development recently announced it has signed a lease with DESTIHL Restaurant and Brew Works. This new urban american cuisine restaurant will be located at the corner of Neil and Church and will offer an extensive menu of handcrafted food, beer and spirits. Outdoor seating will also be provided. Matt Potts, Founder and CEO of DESTIHL, states “We are ecstatic to be opening DESTIHL in Champaign and to be a part of this City’s impressive downtown redevelopment. Opening our second location here was a very easy decision for us to make. DESTIHL is an incredibly unique and great new concept which will be a perfect addition to M2, the City and the home of the alma mater for both my wife Lyn and me. It is DESTIHL’s attention to detail in both the designing, making and pairing of our handcrafted food, beers and spirits and in our service to our guests and environment that truly sets us apart.” M2 on Neil and is expected to be complete in late 2008.
