Indi Go Gallery is an artist co-op in Downtown Champaign. A two-story building with beautiful floor and wall space, it is an ideal location for emerging artists from the University as well as the local community to share their work, benefiting both the artist and community.

James Barham originally started the gallery as a tribute to an artist he discovered making pieces in his garage. In order to provide space for the artist to display his work for 40 North’s Boneyard Art Festival, Barham opened the gallery with the ongoing intention of allowing other artists to have the opportunity to display their work as well.

Indo Go is open to the public to show work, hold non for profit fundraisers, volunteering, and even meeting space for those in similar interest to the gallery’s goal. Previous events include numerous art showings, musical performances including CD release parties, Halloween funhouse, a wedding reception, and improvisation groups.

The slogan of the gallery is “visual space has no essential owner”.
