Blind Pig Brewery Open for Business

The latest installment of the Blind Pig is about to unfold as Chris Knight opens his second Blind Pig location.  However, this isn’t your typical Downtown bar.  Blind Pig BREWERY is the first micro-brewery to open in Champaign since Joe’s Brewery closed on campus over a decade ago.  The Pig’s new location will feature the same intimate setting as its parent on Walnut Street.  However, this one comes with ample outdoor seating in what is sure to evolve into one of Downtown’s finest outdoor beer gardens.

Although the brewery is opening on May 28th, the brew works won’t be quite ready to turn out Blind Pig Beer.  That will simply give you another reason to stop in again.

[...] Neither of them will be at my old favorite stomping ground, Barfly’s beer garden, as Barfly is no more. [...]
